Remarks | Others in York are mentioning on social media a noise after 9pm. This was definitely between 8pm and 8.30pm. We sat down to eat dinner just before 8pm. I mentioned hearing a weird noise towards the end of dinner. I did not hear the later noise. I just saw comments about it on Facebook about 9.40pm. My times might be 15 minutes out, but not an hour out. |

Remarks | It sounded like something like a strong gust of wind, or a large bird, hitting our sliding workshop door, banging it against its stops, but there were no wind noise elsewhere. It was a very weird, low frequency sound. |
