Remarks | I have gone out at night to look at meteor showers before. I also like to look for objects such as the ISS & Shuttle when it flew. This was before it was really dark, and really surprised me because the sky was still somewhat lit (about ~15mins after sunset). It was the brightest I have ever seen, an incredibly bright green, and larger than I had seen during nighttime showers. The light burned much brighter than the ISS, by comparison. I was riding as a passenger in a pickup and it left me stunned all I could say was "Look!" The driver was able to catch a glimpse and saw the color before it burned out. He also commented on the brightness. |
