Experience Level3/5
RemarksI was about to enter the Pa. turnpike heading SB on 611 when I saw a bright light green tear drop shapped meteor starting from W to E kind of over Center City Phila. It last a long time, was crystal clear. It did not leave a trail of sparks behind and well formed. It was huge compared to other meteors. It lasted a long time which gave anyone who witnessed this event time to comprehend what they were seeing. It reminded me of a welder's Flash. For me it's probly a once in a lifetime observation. I am always looking up at the sky and own a Meade XL90 Telescope.I will be surprised if no one else reported it.
