This was not as bright as a fireball I saw several years ago that lit up my entire neighborhood. This appeared to be a very bright and large meteor. Given that it was still twilight out I imagine that it would have been very bright if it were later in the evening.

The object pulsed as it flew across the sky alternating from bright blue to bright white and then before it disappeared there were several small fragments that dropped off the back and disappeared
